Preparing for a Safe Surgery
"Ambulatory
Surgery at UPMC" is an informational video for patients who
are scheduled for ambulatory surgery at UPMC Presbyterian/UPMC
Montefiore. This video follows two different patients through
their surgical experiences and will help you better understand
what to expect on the day of your surgery.

Intensive
Care Unit Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are limited to 15-minute intervals every
two hours. The first interval is: from 10:30 to 10:45 a.m., the
next is from 12:30 to 12:45 p.m., and so on through the day. The
last interval is from 8:30 to 8:45 p.m. If you have any questions
regarding UPMC Presbyterian's visiting hours, contact
us.

Care
The chaplains of UPMC Presbyterian provide emotional assistance
and pastoral care to patients, their families, and staff -- regardless
of denomination or faith.

Satisfaction
UPMC prides itself on providing quality care to patients. All UPMC hospitals are accredited by the Joint Commission (formerly called Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, or JCAHO).
